What to do when you’re in and around Westward Ho!

So you’ve booked your surf lesson with us at Westward Waves, now what?
Having lived in the area for over 15 years, we’ve got some pretty good recommendations for your stay including where to get your post surf coffee fix, accommodation options and where to soak up the South Wests natural beauty.

Coffee and lunch

Naturally, we’ll start with where to find a good coffee because no one wants a bad flat white do they.

A few meters away from the surf school, during the summer, you’ll find Cabana’s mobile coffee van! Sourcing single origin coffee and pouring a whole lot of care into each cup, you can’t go wrong here. They also do a selection of cakes which become pretty irresistible after a surf!
